Ingredients
Washed and cleaned Spinach two bunches
100 gms. paneer (cottage cheese)
1 crushed garlic
1/2 tsp. grated ginger
2 green chillies
1/4 tsp. cumin seeds
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon clove powder
1/2 tsp. asafetida powder
1 tsp garam masala powder

Method of Making Palak Paneer
- Boil spinach in pan for 2-3 minutes till it becomes soft.
- Cool the spinach and mix it with ginger,garlic and chillies.
- In a frying pan add oil and fry paneer till light brown in colour.Keep it aside.
- Now take a pan when the pan gets heated add cumin seeds,asafetida and softened spinach saute for few minutes till a good aroma comes.
- Add all spices except paneer and lemon juice.Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes in medium heat.
- Add fried paneer stir gently. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Palak paneer is ready serve hot.
